Sarah always believed that education was the key to creating opportunities—not just for herself, but for those around her. Growing up in Nairobi, Kenya, she dreamed of becoming a successful entrepreneur who could build businesses that created jobs and empowered local communities. However, balancing full-time work, family responsibilities, and financial commitments made pursuing higher education seem like an impossible goal.
Determined not to give up on her ambitions, Sarah began searching for a university that offered flexibility, academic quality, and an international perspective. That’s when she discovered Central Global University.
“I wanted a university that understood the realities of working professionals,” Sarah explains. “CGU gave me the opportunity to continue my education without putting my career on hold.”
Enrolling in the Bachelor of Business Administration program marked the beginning of a transformative journey. Through courses in leadership, marketing, strategic management, finance, and entrepreneurship, Sarah developed practical skills that she could immediately apply in her workplace.

One of the aspects Sarah appreciated most was learning alongside classmates from different countries and professional backgrounds. Collaborating with peers from across the world exposed her to new ideas, business cultures, and perspectives that broadened her understanding of international markets.
“The diversity of the classroom made every discussion more meaningful. I learned just as much from my classmates as I did from the course materials.”
As her confidence grew, Sarah began taking on greater leadership responsibilities within her organization. She introduced new ideas to improve operational efficiency, contributed to strategic planning initiatives, and mentored junior colleagues who aspired to advance their careers.
Outside of work, Sarah has started developing plans for her own business venture—one focused on providing consulting and business development services to small and medium-sized enterprises in her community.
“My degree has given me more than academic knowledge,” she reflects. “It has given me the confidence to lead, make informed decisions, and believe that I can build something meaningful.”
Looking ahead, Sarah hopes to continue her professional development, expand her entrepreneurial ambitions, and inspire other working professionals to invest in their education regardless of where they are in life.
