Entry Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in health and wellness promotion.
• No prior experience in healthcare or wellness is required.

Equivalences

Candidates with relevant academic coursework in health sciences, psychology, or related fields may be eligible for equivalences. Contact our admissions office to discuss your qualifications and determine eligibility for advanced standing.

Qualification Structure

• Core Modules: Foundations of Health & Wellness, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physical Activity and Exercise Science, Stress Management Techniques, Mental Health Awareness, Preventive Healthcare Strategies.
• Elective Modules: Choose from specialized topics such as Holistic Health Practices, Health Coaching Techniques, Workplace Wellness Programs, and more.
• Practicum Experience: Gain hands-on experience through internships, community outreach projects, or research initiatives focused on health promotion and wellness education.

Duration and Delivery

The Health & Wellness Certification Program is designed to be completed in three months, with a combination of in-person workshops, online lectures, and experiential learning opportunities. Participants will have access to course materials and resources through our dedicated learning platform.

Assessment and Verification

Assessment methods include quizzes, assignments, presentations, and a final project to evaluate participants’ understanding and application of health and wellness concepts. Verification of completion will be provided upon meeting all program requirements and demonstrating competency in core competencies.

Progressions

Upon successful completion of the Health & Wellness Certification Program, participants will be equipped to pursue a variety of career paths in healthcare, wellness coaching, community health education, corporate wellness programs, and more. Graduates may also choose to further their education with advanced certifications or degrees in health promotion, public health, or related fields.
